Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Hi Hello 2 months ago

Took my family and we all loved it! My apologies for not being as quiet as your other customers (we were a large group). I don't believe anyone made rude faces or made us feel uncomfortable. There were several teens at the table and my family was visiting from out of town. We were just really happy the food and service was great. Thank you so much! Your staff was so welcoming and we truly appreciate that. *portions are a good size. 1 roll fills the average person up. Everyone who ordered ramen at our table needed a to-go container (prices are reasonable)

Just moved to Bakersfield from San Diego and wasn't sure what our choices were for sushi. This place had good reviews, so we took a chance. Went at 5 pm Sunday night and was seated right away. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very good. It's a smaller strip mall restaurant, but the interior is clean and modern. There is table seating as well as a sushi bar, plus 2 TVs to watch sports.

My personal favorite sushi place to go to in town. The place looks and feels great to be in. The food is great. The portions are at worst fair and great on average. The wait staff and chefs are nice and helpful. This place is now the first place I think of when I want good sushi.

I enjoyed my food here however I think the food was 3.5/5. Some of the fish didn’t taste 100 percent amazing and the ramen was bland and over cooked. With that being said the yakisoba was fantastic and blew me away. The dumplings also delivered and we really enjoyed them. The service was absolutely impressive. The staff was quick friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my experience here and would come back to try more sushi as I feel like this place has a lot of potential. Also they gave us free miso soup which is always a nice touch!

A Culinary Gem That Exceeds Expectations Visiting this sushi restaurant was an incredible experience from the very beginning. The staff's kindness is outstanding; they make you feel truly welcome. The owners are excellent hostsβ€”attentive, warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. The menu is extensive, creative, and delicious. Every dish stands out thanks to the freshness of the seafood and the high quality of the ingredients. From classic rolls to more daring options, everything is expertly prepared. It’s a place where flavors surprise you and keep you coming back. Perfect for any occasion: a romantic dinner with your partner, a family celebration, a gathering with friends, or even a solo treat. You’ll always find a cozy atmosphere and food that delights. Highly recommended!
